Hello, beautiful people:)
I'm incredibly excited to share with you the project that's consumed me for the past 2 years, although it’s been writing itself for 5; kept me up at night and leaping out of bed in the morning, made me consider purchasing stock in Kleenex and checking myself into the psych ward; caused me to lose people, gain people, meet Hades in the underworld and ultimately find my way back to myself.
Her name is “Wild Sobriety,” and she is my thirdborn.
Here is a draft of the “Opening Letter” to be included in place of the book’s “Introduction.”
“Mothers are the endangered species… whose sacred ground lies fallow.”
Do not be fooled, my love. For this guide is only half-written. The minute you opened it, you became co-creator, co-conspirator, and better half. You will find within her pages the open arms of the mother, lover, sister, and friend; to be rendered by the wisdom of your instinct, the natural wonders of your soul. Your unique contribution, your riches, your spice, the shape of your pain, and the candor of your experience are the only implements that can finish her story. The story of re-writing your ending. The story of how you blazed a trail through the wilderness and found your way back to you.
So take my hand and walk with me. Back to the place where Cicadas sing in a language you can understand, and Flowers grow from every patch of ground graced by your step. And the Moon wishes itself new, on a soft bed of Stars. And the Crow nuzzles into the nest of your neck and soothes the Sacred back to your center. And the Wolf howls your name into the night sky. And one by one. Limb by limb. Hand by hand by strand of hope. A forgotten Hymn of the Soul draws Herself back into your Belly and sets your Wild Heart free.
Take my hand. And walk with me.

This book is a field guide for moms lost in the wilderness of wine mom culture. An interactive roadmap to sobriety unlike anything that’s been written before.
I truly believe in the power of our collective voices. If "Wild Sobriety" resonates with you, I'd be so grateful for your support in helping amplify its message. Whether it's a mention, a share, or just a thought on your stories, every bit counts. Plus, I'd love to feature your endorsements in the promotions section of my book proposal. I am so eternally grateful for my tribe of mama wolves and wild women who have kept me afloat throughout this challenging and beautiful process. And for all your help spreading the message of healing and hope together.
So much love for you,
Rosie
